Who we are

This website is run by Mad Magnet Media, Dubrovačka 5, 18000 Niš, Serbia ("Mad Magnet", "we"). If you have any question about your personal data, write to us at office@madmagnet.com.

What we collect, and why

• When you write to us. If you email us or message us on social media, we use your name, email address and what you tell us to reply and, if you want, to discuss working together.
• When you book a call. Calls are booked through Calendly. The details you enter there are processed by Calendly and shared with us so we can run the call.
• When you subscribe to our newsletter. The newsletter runs on Substack. When you subscribe, Substack processes your email address so it can send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from any email.
• When you use the Positioning Audit. The audit tool asks for your work email and your website so it can prepare your report and send it to you.
• When you visit the website. Our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the website running and secure. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.
• Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites and does not build a profile of you. We only see totals, such as page views, referring sites and countries.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not use advertising trackers. The visit statistics described above work without cookies. If you open a service we link to, such as Calendly, Substack, LinkedIn or Instagram, that service may set its own cookies under its own policy.

Who we share data with

We only share personal data with the services listed above, which help us run the website, the visit statistics, the newsletter, the audit and our calls. We don't sell personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep emails and call notes for as long as we're in contact, and for as long as the law requires after that. Newsletter data stays with Substack until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, to stop using it, or to move it to someone else. Write to office@madmagnet.com. You also have the right to file a complaint with the data protection authority in your country. In Serbia, that is the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
